Book Launch Ideas - Use These 5 Tips to Get Readers Interested in Your Masterpiece

Your book is finished. It's about to hit the bookshelves and online stores. Now you're ready to launch.

Hold on! (Sound of screeching brakes) This is not the time to launch your book. That time actually started months ago, when your book was just a glimmer in your eye and a glow in your brain.

So how do you launch your book - before you have a book? And how do you carry that through after you publish your book? Here are 5 tips that will get you started right, regardless of where you are in the process.

1. Start a blog
While you will post articles about the topic of your book on your regular blog, it's never too early to start a blog dedicated to your book. There is where you can post the progress of the book, from concept to completion. You can write about the actual process of writing and publishing the book. This is the place for "all things book-related."

2. Build a tribe
At the same time as you start your blog, you should also start to build your tribe. You want to offer to keep people updated on the topic of your book. Get them interested and keep them informed. When you let them take the journey along with you, they will "buy into" your book and your tribe. It may be through videos where you're talking about the writing process. It may be through photos of you doing the research or interviewing experts who will be in the book. It may be celebrating completion of the first draft.
The more you involve your tribe with polls on their opinions to getting them to spread the word on actual launch day, the more likely they are to want the book and everything else you offer.

3. Get social

We can't ignore it any longer - social media is here to stay. And that means that you have a powerful media tool to use as you launch your book. Create a Facebook Page (formerly fan page) for your book and get all of your tribe to like it and share it with their list of friends. Offer a free sneak peek into the book when it's ready.

As soon as you have the book front cover finished, add it to your page. Then use the power of Facebook and Twitter to tell everyone about it. Better yet, run a contest between two or three designs you are considering and let them vote on them. People love to be involved!

4. Involve the media

Send press releases to online outlets at each news-worthy step of the way:
When you launch the blog for the bookWhen you launch the Facebook PageWhen you run a contest for the book cover - and again when you announce the final coverWhen you launch the book
Pay for press release services at the time of your book launch to ensure it hits all of the newswires on the same day. Respond to any and all media requests in your topic area, always mentioning the book.

5. Create an event

Your book launch should be an event. It's big for you. Now make it big for your entire tribe. Consider having a live face-to-face book launch party locally. Invite your followers to attend - and webcast it for others to see, regardless of their location. Pre-schedule tweets and emails to go out throughout the day, reminding everyone that today is THE book launch day and where they can pick up a copy of your book.

The more excited you get about your book launch, the more involvement you will get from your fans and followers. And the more readers you will get for your book!
Your book launch starts long before the book is finished. And it can continue long after the day of the launch, when you use these five tips to get people interested in reading and buying your book. thanks to 6138750

How to Write E-Books and Make Money With Information Marketing in Nigeria

How to Write E-Books and Make Money With Information Marketing in Nigeria

Some people have dreams of becoming a best-selling author and in this day and age, the publishing world makes it more and more difficult for an aspiring writer to realize their dreams. Offline publishing is nearly impossible unless you go the self-publishing route and pay for everything yourself. However, online publishing (information marketing) is a different story altogether.

The Internet is the place to be if you want to write and get paid for doing it. One of the best ways to make money by writing online is to create ebooks and sell them.

An eBook is just like a regular book, except it's an entirely digital product. This means that you, as the author, are the writer, the publisher and the seller of the entire thing. From start to finish-you're in charge. E-Books have an advantage over their offline-counterparts in that there are no publishing charges, no storage fees for books that are printed and no printing fees because you don't have to print the books out. check out this onlinewealthcreationclub.wordpress.com

You can promote your own ebook, and many authors do just that, or you can choose to create an affiliate marketing program where you have people sign up to promote and sell your digital product. When they make a sale, you give them a commission. You can do this on your own and create your own affiliate program, or you can create an account someplace like ClickBank where they match up sellers and people who want to become affiliate markers for you. They also handle all the transaction fees so you don't have to deal with any issues that may arise. Naturally ClickBank takes a fee for each sale as well, so if you want to make the most money from your eBook you should set up your own affiliate program.

Writing an eBook is similar to writing a regular book except that most eBooks aren't fictional in nature-they're more along the lines of how to do something. There are a great many ebooks out there that concern themselves with Internet Marketing strategies. Here are a few ideas to get you started if you're considering writing that eBook masterpiece:

• How to drive traffic to your website

• Researching profitable niches

• How to write compelling ad copy that sucks in clients

• Article marketing

• Social Bookmarking Sites to drive traffic

• How to create an Internet marketing buzz

• Affiliate Marketing Secrets your Mommy never told you about

• Blogging for Cash and Cars (ok, just cash)

• How Facebook Can make you rich

These are just a few ideas of topics that Internet marketers are interested in. When you're writing your eBook, make sure that you write as though you were speaking to someone and not giving a boring lecture to a class of students who have no interest in what you're teaching. Use creative and compelling chapter headings to catch their attention. Make sure your work is professional by proofing and re-proofing your work before you put it up for sale. Simple Ways to Market Your eBook in Nigeria

writing an ebook involves alot. it may be easy to produce an ebook, in say 7 days, however, it is never easy to market your product and cover the cost of production in 7 days. so, how exactly do i market my ebook in nigeria without sending much money?
1. Word of Mouth - one of the best ways to sell your books is to let your friends, family and co-workers know about it. People who already trust and respect you will likely want to have a copy because they believe in you and think that you have written something that they want. They will not only buy the book but, if they like it, will also tell their circle of friends and acquaintances about it. Soon you will be taking orders from people you don't even know.
2. Seminar - You can organise either a paid or unpaid seminar presentations for groups and then sell the book at the back of the room. Consider approaching organizations who would have an interest in your topic and then offer to speak to them. They might even purchase a copy of the book for every participant who attends.
3. Social media - the question of how many nigerians are on social media like facebook is no longer news. two popular places to get to sell your ebook to nigerians would be  Facebook and Twitter.  You can use text, audio or video to tell others about your book. You might even offer a free one to individuals who agree to provide you with a review. people do this alot on forums like digital point, warrior and home based business in nigeria.
4. Forums: another good place to get to sell your ebook in nigeria is through forums. there are lots of forums where you can sell your ebooks. you can satrt with home based business forum in nigeria, naira land etc. just write a good review of your forum and if it's what people are looking for, they will come and buy from you.
The responsibility of selling your book is in your hands. for a start, you will need to develop a marketing plan that will help others to know about you and your book so that they will be motivated to buy. if you haave a good marketing plan, you will in no time begin to see sells pouring in.

Writing A Book: how to make it as simple as ABCD

One of the most common issues people have in writing a book is the writing. How do i begin to write, what should i write about? etc.  It's not that too difficult to write. It's just that we think we must get everything perfect in our head before we  can write a book. you don't need to everything perfect just because you're writing a book.  here is how to make writing an ebook as simple as possible.

1. Set realistic expectations
Too often we enter the "writing a book" mindset thinking that our first book is going to be a best-seller and we'll suddenly be rich and famous. It could happen.
But it's much more likely that you will publish your book. It will help a lot of people. You'll gain credibility and more fame, doing what you already know how to do. And you'll write your next book.
So now that the pressure of writing the next Best Seller is off, you can relax and just be you - imperfect as you are.

2. Write like you talk
Again you may be thinking that a book needs to be in formal, academic-type language. It's just not so! You need to write like you talk. After all, if you were speaking the information to someone (your buyer for example) you wouldn't suddenly become stilted and formal. Just be you.
3. Talk it onto paper
One of the most effective techniques many people use is to literally talk aloud as they type. If you don't type fast, then just record your "writing" and have someone transcribe it. It's the easiest way to be sure your writing both sounds like you and is readable.

4. Separate writing from editing
One of the biggest slow-downs that many authors experience is confusing the editing process with the writing process. Writing is just that - writing. Don't worry about spelling, grammar or formatting. Just write.
If you have a hard time turning off your internal editor, then use a text processor that doesn't allow you to identify spelling or grammar errors. Likewise you cannot boldface, use italics or use bullet points. You just write.

5. Keep writing
It's tempting. You hit a blank spot in your thinking and just take a minute to check your email. But your email won't help you finish your book.

Then you need to do some online research - and while you're there take just a second to check Facebook. But Facebook won't help you finish your book.

When you are writing, keep writing. Even if you hit a wall and don't feel like you know what to write next, go ahead and keep writing. Write about the road block to your thinking and how it's holding you up. Write about how much you want to get this book finished.

Regardless of what you write, keep writing. You can always go back and delete it from the book file later. But for now, keep writing. Over time you will write yourself right out of your slump.
As you follow these tips, remember that writing a book is only as hard as you decide it is.

Best Seller - Six Strategies How To Write a Nigerian Book In 7 Days or Less!

Do you want to write a book in a week?
Have you been putting off the books over year?
Are you frustrated that another year has gone by?
Do you want to attract more clients through your best-selling book?

Do you feel overwhelmed from all the steps needed to write your book?
I know how you feel. I've been there. It's super frustrating for me. But that's in the past. We'll quickly go over in this article the areas below:
-How to start the book.
-How to find an awesome topic.
-How to find time to write your best selling book

Tip 1: Don't Limit Yourself
I use to limit myself, saying that "I can't write" or "I don't think I can write" or "I'm not an expert or have anything to say" But I found that these are perceived problems. Shift your mindset. Instead of saying that "I can't". You can use empowering questions instead. You have the power to choose. So label it "I choose to..." "I choose to write for 15 minutes", "I choose to be grateful for the skill to write". If you say "I can't" you really saying that "I choose not to". You subconscious mind can only agree with what you say to yourself so talk in the positive light. This is what you can do on a daily basis. Change the way you choose your words in life. This applies in any area of your life.

If you can talk, you can write. Just write as you are talking to a client, friend or even your mom, about the topic you want to write about. Be as easy going and conversational using the kind of language someone who is a amateur at the subject will be hearing. What I'm saying is, don't use big words.
If you think you don't have the time, then plan a day based when you feel most creative and write during that time frame. For me, this is between 10am to about 12. I make sure I write some ideas down or record it before I head to my next scheduled daily task or appointment.

Tip 2: Marketing Mesh
The marketing mesh starts now. When you work on your book, also be working on your marketing. Find out what your target market want to know. How? It's simple.
Instead of sending a questionnaire to your email list because you're just starting out with info product Creation. Instead of doing a survey, go the Amazon.com and look at best selling products. You see, people are already buying these products. Next, ask yourself, not people, what problems or concerns do you have about the product. How do you use the product? What challenges come from using this? If you have no clue nor are you interested, read reviews about the product and write and research based on the elements from customer reviews. Again, look at the list of products that are being bought and you won't rack your brain trying to "read" your prospects mind.

Tip 3: Short Yet Powerful
Look, it doesn't have to be 200 plus pages. It could be a simple daily quotes book with a piece of your own take of wisdom on the quote. Use your quotes or use someone Else's. Reference the source and underneath it, write a paragraph or two on how the quote has inspired you to do something an area in your life.

Tip 4: Unique Systems List
Present your system think about explaining a problem talking my problems and explaining how to solve it.
People in your market will always need personalized, face to face help so don't worry so much that your book will draw personal clients away from you. The opposite is true. Many will call out the true source (you) and hire you. For example, I have a problem with a leak in water piping around the shower head of my bathtub - work behind the wall. I could have read books upon books and watched Internet videos about the problem.
But if the problem became overbearing and I couldn't stand, it I ended up calling expert and he ended up coming over to fix it. the moment.

Tip 5: The Sacred Space
Do you have a sacred space for your writing? Display pictures objects or things that help you tap into your inner self. I'm often traveling and not take a folder or collapsible folder items have to do with my inner self pictures that inspire me a CD that motivates me -- relaxing music or nature sounds. You have a unique place in the world find so you will find your place in it for your writing -- make this an important ritual. If you write at home, create a writing space, it could be your den or small area that you can find privacy. Set aside time each day to dedicate and write in that sacred space. I travel in my vehicle and sometimes my sacred space is inside my car in between a client and a break I have.

Tip 6: Health Patterns Change Writing Patterns
You must take charge of their health and well-being, exercising specially the one you especially the type you enjoy -- will Bush energy and harsher power to write, he gets more oxygen to your brain which will help you think better, and we all know that we need to think better more clear when we are writing. So make sure you set aside time for moving -- I love the way loose your mood and you're at your creativity, like I said if you think of a candle without option will happen to that candle that fire would die the same thing with your your brain -- the more option you get through exercise through physical exercise the better to creativity flame.please see original article here

12 Simple Ways to Sell More Books in Nigeria

Most authors want to sell books, but many never will. At least not more than a handful.
The #1 way to sell books is to get yours to stand out from the millions of others that are out there.
Below are 10 very easy to implement "stand out" ideas.

1. Article marketing
One of the oldest online marketing strategies is still one of the most effective. Writing articles that tie into the theme of your book should be very easy. After all, you are a writer.
Even if you don't have a lot of time on your hands you can take portions of a chapter and create several articles.
At the end of the article add in something that drives readers back to your blog, website or landing page to opt in for something of value. Yes, ethical bribes still work.

2. Tell people
You need to let your friends, family, colleagues, clients, peers and just about anybody you know that your book was published. After all, if you're not willing to talk about your book others may not be either.

3. Reviews from happy readers
Third party endorsements (verbal or written) are a great way to have your book stand out. Just today I began reading a book my nutritionist recommended.
Recently Sandi hosted a workshop on food cravings. During her presentation she recommended the audience read two books. I wrote both down and upon returning home immediately ordered the Kindle version of the one that most caught my attention.
Once I'm done with the book I will write an Amazon review. It's likely I will even blog about the book. Viral marketing at its best.

4. Facebook
Start a page for your book. I have done that for the last two books I was the marketing director for. The strategy worked well in that we created interest in the book before it was published.
Once you start the page you need to let everyone know about it. Be actively involved with those who "liked" the page. Otherwise the page is a stagnant piece and does you no good.

5. LinkedIn groups
A fantastic way to build a loyal following of potential buyers of your book(s) is to start a LinkedIn group that is specific to the theme or genre of your book.
Does a group take work? Yes. But so do all the other methods outlined in this article.
The fact is, anything you do is going to take effort.

6. Blogging
By far one of the best things you can do to build visibility, credibility, market reach and SEO is blogging.
Here are only a handful of ideas for what you can blog about regarding your book.

7. FAQ's
Frequently asked questions as they pertain to the theme of your book. If you're not sure what the main questions your potential readers have, ask. Even if you have a pretty good idea, ask.
One way to do this is with Survey Monkey. When someone completes your survey give them a gift for doing so without requiring any opt in. This creates a win/win.
Try the survey method. Not only can you post results on your blog, you can write articles and develop products based on the answers.

8. Tips
Based on the theme of your book you can write tips that are specific to the interests of your market.
Just like I did with this posting, you can do so with your book.

9. Interviews with other authors in the same genre
Why not find other authors who have a following and interview them? Not only will you have great information for your blog, you will build credibility by association.

10. Case studies
If your book is a how to, you can profile those who got specific results based on the information your book outlines. This not only increases potential reader interest, it substantiates the value of your book's information.

11. Guest Blogging
One of the fastest and most effective ways to increase market reach and visibility for you and your book is to be a featured blogger on other high traffic blogs.

12. Videos
Without a doubt video is one of the most powerful marketing tools you can use to promote your book. You can do book trailers, short readings, or simply share stories as they relate to your book. Be sure to be animated during your shooting and use keywords both in the spoken part of the video and the title and description. So there you have it... 12 simple ways to gain visibility for your book(s).

A step by step guide to planning and writing your eBooks
I want to write an eBook for a Nigerian audience, how do I go about it? How do I plan the eBook very well so that it can meet industry standard? These and many more questions one faces when planning to write an eBook.

and here are four tips for making your eBook journey smooth and seamless:
1.   Research your market: Figure out what topic is most likely to interest your target audience and pick a focus area to highlight. Ebooks work best as small publications and it is a good idea to have a focused approach.
2.   Create the content: Once you have a clear idea of what you want to write about, you should make sure that you produce content that is really substantive. This ebook will go a long way in establishing your standing with a potential client or business partner and it is important that the ebook underscore your attention to quality. If you are unsure about your writing skills, consider hiring a writer to flesh out your ideas.
3.   Pick the packaging: You may have the best ebook in the world and it will not catch anyone’s attention if it is not attractively laid out. Work with a professional ebook formatting and design services firm and get their help in creating a stand-out ebook. A quality ebook formatting company will offer proof reading services, help you find an appropriate layout and help with designing an attention-grabbing ecover.
4.   Choose a publishing platform: Amazon Digital Text Platform (DTP), PubIt, Scribd, Lulu and Smashwords are among the most popular publishing platforms used for self-publishing ebooks. Pick a package that works for you. Keep in mind that it is best to go with an option where you are allowed to set the price. Ebooks tend to do well in the $.99 to $4.99 price range.
And that’s it! You will have your own ebook to use as promotional material or to create an income stream. for more information visit here
